About
Mita graduated from BA Film, Television & Radio Studies at Staffordshire University and then went on to an MA in Film Studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Her MA thesis centred around the representation of the British Raj in literature and film from India and the UK.
Mita currently works for the School of Creative Arts at the University of Hertfordshire. She has taught modules on the new Screen Cultures programme as well as guest lectured on popular Indian Cinema.
