MSc Health Psychology, BSc (Hons) Psychology, registered Health Psychologist in Training (BPS)

My research to date has focused on adolescent health and risk behaviours and the provision of health services for young people, in areas relating to sexual health and contraception, physical activity promotion, obesity, and management of long-term conditions. I have a particular interest in the investigation of control and responsibility for health in young people, including issues relating to confidentiality and consent.

Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) England (Part of WHO-coordinated cross-national study; see links)

The role of general practice in adolescent obesity management (doctoral research)

Adherence to treatment in adolescents with haemophilia
